Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the ILACHE Board of Directors and the 2024 Conference Planning Committee, we are pleased to announce the ILACHE’s 32nd  Annual Conference to be held at Governors State University on Friday, April 11, 2025.

This year's conference theme, "Unidos en la Lucha: Sharing Stories and Cultivating Leaders," emphasizes the power of collective action, storytelling, and leadership development within our Latino/a/x community in higher education. Join us for a day of enriching workshops, inspiring keynote speakers, and valuable networking opportunities that will empower both professionals and students.

Conference highlights will include:

  • Dynamic keynote speakers from across the education sector
  • Interactive professional development workshops
  • Student leadership sessions
  • Networking opportunities with educators and professionals
  • Recognition of outstanding Latino/a/x achievements in higher education
  • Continental breakfast, lunch and networking reception included

Register now to secure your spot at this transformative event.

Faculty, staff, and students across disciplines are encouraged to submit workshop and poster proposals addressing this year's conference theme. The conference will also provide opportunities for higher education institutions, organizations, and/or business to become conference sponsors.  Our sponsors are showcased in our conference marketing materials before and during the conference via our website, social media, direct electronic mail, and our conference application. To register for the conference, submit a proposal, learn about sponsorship opportunities or other questions, please visit us at ILACHE.org.

We hope you will join us in person this year to contribute to this theme, share best practices, and connect with colleagues so that you may return to your institution with the tools necessary to continue to transform higher education.

Saludos,

Daniel López, Ph.D.
ILACHE Board President
