Join us for a day filled of professional development, networking, workshops, and much more! This year’s theme is Together We Rise: Promoting leadership, affirming identity and demanding equity. Join us via zoom to connect with colleagues and return to campus with the tools necessary to continue to redefine the future of Latino higher education. This year’s conference addresses major concerns Latinos are facing in higher education and in society. The aggressive anti-immigrant, anti-Latino White nationalist agenda is finding its way into higher education. It appears in the form of deteriorating support of Latino initiatives and shifting discourses that attempt to redefine diversity, adopting modified forms of “melting pot” and efficiency perspectives aimed at erasing or diluting the presence of Latinos on campuses.
